NUMERICAL INDICATORS OF ECOLOGICAL SECURITY LEVEL

Abstract

A topical scientific and practical task is determined; it is the development of indicators of ecological security and analytical information system to support optimal decision making by the city ecological security authorities. Methodological basis of ecological security comprise theoretical principles of a systematic approach to environment quality management. For the efficient operation of environmental protection services it is necessary to use workstations of different levels with analytical information systems. The most effective is the usage of computer-aided workstations for analysts when computer system and communication means make a single network of analytical support, in  particular: work automatization of state and private organizations of ecological security, estimation of land plots, privatization, land purchase and sale procedure taking into account ecological factors. City ecological data was brought to the common ground, which means it was standardized with the aim of further usage. It was offered to use integral index of ecological security as general numerical indicator of ecological security. If there is the abundance of input data, real variables that influence the quality of ecological security are calculated according to the method of main components. For the analysis automatization of city ecological security indicators, integral indicators for every sphere of city ecological state and general integral indicator were developed. For their calculation an information analytical system EcoSafety City was offered.
