Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the scientific and practical problem, which consists in analysis of the existing ways and methods for detection of leaks and unauthorized withdrawal of oil from the main pipeline and establishment
of the ways for further ACS improvement. It also studies and analyzes the methods and techniques of modern leak detection systems, as well as makes an assessment of the effectiveness of automated systems for detection of
leaks and unauthorized withdrawal of oil from main pipelines based on intelligent technologies including the ones that were built on the basis of the fuzzy logic methods in accordance with eight characteristics.
