Abstract

The results of modeling non-isothermal oil movement on the section of the main oil pipeline are presented. It is emphasized that solving the problem of finding effective oil transportation through the oil pipeline system is a topical issue, which is related to the establishment of rational pumping modes. The feasibility of using modern methods of mathematical programming and application software is determined, while the use of modern application software requires the direct participation of programmer users who have an understanding of the subject area of development. It is determined that to study the thermal and hydraulic characteristics of oil flow in the oil pipeline, it is necessary to take into account many factors and correctly select the determinants. The main stages of model development are presented oil transportation process, which included the construction of the geometry of the oil pipeline in the Fusion360 program, the compilation of a physical and chemical model of oil in the PVTSim Nova program, and the modeling of heat transfer and hydrodynamics in the COMSOL Multiphysics program. An example of calculating the transportation of heated viscous oil is given, in which oil enters the main oil pipeline at a temperature of 50 ° C, the pipeline is an underground shallow-laid pipeline at a depth of 0.9 m. The change in oil temperature along the channel cross-section and length was studied, taking into account the losses into the environment. It is proved that a decrease in soil temperature is accompanied by a decrease in oil temperature, which corresponds to the physical picture of cooling the moving fluid in the pipeline. The temperature along the cross-section also changes in accordance with physical laws, which indicates the feasibility of using the selected program for thermal calculations. According to the results of the modeling, data on the oil velocity and pressure change along the length of the oil pipeline were obtained. The presented data on pressure changes take into account the costs along the length of the oil pipeline, however, it is possible to include in the program also the difference in geodetic heights and costs at local supports.
