The main reasons of breakdowns and faults of metal consuming equipment on oil-and-gas complex</em> <em>objects include the change of metal ware physical and mechanical properties as a result of metal corrosion</em> <em>damages, the lack of construction operations, serial defects of materials and facilities, mechanical damages,</em> <em>constructions mishandling. Emergency faults and breakdowns cause significant losses to Ukrainian enterprises</em> <em>and organizations, worsen ecological situation and contribute to the occurrence of accidents.</em></p> <p><em>This article deals with the detailed review of control methods of physical and mechanical properties of oil-andgas</em> <em>complex objects metal constructions which function under various temperature and operation conditions. Their</em> <em>characteristics and expedience of application in industry from practical and economic points of view are reasoned.</em></p> <p><em>The advantages and disadvantages of each method and peculiarities of their application when controlling certain</em> <em>objects are described. Measuring tools operation in carrying out the main control types has been analyzed.
