Abstract

The method for the choice of optimal consumers’ connection schemes to the existing transit power lines of oil and gas networks was specified. The discounted costs were accepted as the integral criterion of scheme optimization. The costs consist of capital investments related to the connection of additional consumers, line operating costs and energy losses costs. In the result of objective function of the discounted costs minimization simple analytical expression for the definition of optimal angle of branch connection to the existing transit line was obtained. It is shown that at the selected parameters this angle depends on the power correlation of three neighboring network areas with respect to branch connection place. The dependence of optimal angle of branch connection on the load power, energy price, consumers’ electrical loads schedule and discount rate was analyzed.
